As an educationist Ameer Hassan is strongly dedicated to the cause of quality education world over. He does not like to be tied up to one single place or organisation for a long period of time. He likes changes… and endeavours to bring in drastic changes along the path… offers his share in the creation of a new India … leaving behind a great legacy to benefit the present and… future. It’s his great practical ambition to be a prime catalyst in the making of a new class of educationists who will change the world!
He has successfully combined his passion for teaching with professionalism, intellectual acumen and a spirit of educational entrepreneurship. As a well-recognised educational leader, he is seeking to develop a unique model of schooling for the benefit of teachers, students, parents and educationists. He is committed to bring this model to fruition through the establishment of a Global Campus in India.
He was born in Calicut, Kerala where he commenced his schooling. After the completion of his schooling at JDT Islam High School in 1985, he joined Markazu Ssaqafathi Ssunniyya which changed the course of his life. At Markaz he developed an irresistible longing for learning of his religion and the two prominent languages of the world: Arabic and English. Once he was intrinsically motivated for learning by Sir Ismail Wafa and Ustad Kakkad Muhammad Faizee, he continued to widen his knowledge in Islam at Dars (a local mosque-based Islamic learning centre), and got a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in English language and literature from the University of Calicut. He has a diploma in Information Technology and another diploma in Human Resource Management from Metropolitan TAFE of Australia. In the meantime, he developed a habit of private teaching at parallel colleges (unrecognised private study centres). He is the founder of many private study centres and colleges. From this practice and from a love of teaching it became apparent that education is is his career path.
As an educationist, he has always been pondering over new methods to change the way our educational institutions are operated. He realised, with the advent of technology, that the conventional teaching approach needs to be replaced with new techniques.
As a principal and academic leader he is prepared to take up his position and promote his institions to the best. He has proved his calibre as an academic administrator and Principal at Ishaath Public School (
http://www.mpspoonoor.com/) by establishing a strong tradition and a deeply committed staff and extended community.
He has undertaken the glorious task of establishing Heritage School and Housans College in Kerala. Wherever he is, he works with the board of management to maintain the clarity of its mission, and to emphasize the values and academic priorities of the school while developing a strategic plan which sets its course for the future. With active participation of teachers, students, parents, alumni and friends, his schools embark on a glorious journey to a bright and promising future.
